Visit to Ghana Celebrations August 2015

On the invitation of the Senatus of Accra, Ghana, 2 legionaries represented the Concilium for their 75th anniversary celebrations. They were Janet Lowthe (Concilium Correspondent for Ghana) and Consolata Orwa (President of the Senatus of Nairobi, Kenya). The visit took place from 20th August to 1st September. The theme chosen for the year-long celebration is “Glory to God, Honour to Mary”.
The highlight of the celebrations was the Mass in Holy Spirit Cathedral, Accra chief celebrant being Most Reverend Thomas Mensah, Archbishop Emeritus of Accra. The 2 visitors also took the opportunity to meet with the Senatus officers, officers and clergy of Cape Coast, Kumasi, Sunyani and Tamale.
