Tribute to Eva McGorish, RIP

TRIBUTE TO EVA MCGORISH, RIP
Eva McGorish died on Thursday 13th June 2013. Her first praesidium was Sancta Maria Hostel and her first work therefore was among the street girls. She was President of Immaculata Curia, Dublin, was a Concilium officer in charge of Dublin and went on PPC to various countries such as India, Israel and Syria. She also worked in the Permance in Lourdes. She had a knowledge of French and visited Reunion, Madagascar, and the Congo. On arrival in Madagascar she visited the small island of Nossi-Bé, which was at that time not served by the major airlines but she acquired a small airplane, which landed in a field. There was no one to meet her but she found her way to the Bishop’s residence. On meeting the Bishop he exclaimed, “I don’t believe it!” He gave orders for the Legion to be started in every parish. She gave generously of her time to the Legion. May her soul rest in peace.
